Our first Dining with Friends collaboration took place at a September supper club and we’ve been enamored with Courtney ever since. So when we saw her announce a brunch club in collaboration with Boot Scootin’ Bread, we immediately jumped at the opportunity to send her spring/summer 2023 wines.
Courtney gave brunch favorite Post Flirtation Rosé NV No. 2 a spritzy treatment with blood orange slices, poached rhubarb juice, OJ, and some bubbles. Friend-of-all-fats, Out to the Meadow 2022, paired beautifully with rich biscuit sandwiches and housemade yogurt, and Nero d’Avola Rosato 2022 served as the perfect complement to the fresh-baked polenta citrus scones and homemade butter.
If you ever find yourself in Seattle, Courtney hosts monthly supper (or brunch) clubs that we highly recommend trying to snag a reservation to. Be warned: they typically sell out in minutes. If you can’t find an excuse to get up to the Pacific Northwest, maybe you can use this as inspiration to host your own!
